Blue Sea Glass is where adventure, imagination, nature, and a little irreverence meet.
G.J. Dürrschmidt is a career military veteran with a graduate degree in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. After leaving the service, he found a second career as an adjunct professor of Writing and Literature.
Now retired, he works from Florida’s southwest shore on a plethora of writing projects. When the words need fresh air, he and Kaspar, a 1970 VW Westfalia, head for one of the region’s scenic beaches.
Before Florida’s southwest shore, there were four years aboard the motor yacht MV Spiritu in the Florida Keys. G.J. calls it his pirate phase. The Keys inspired well over a thousand poems, plus prose and memoir pieces that continue to find their way home.
