Again I'm having coffee
with the boy next door.
It's got to be great coffee,
as he’s back for more.
We start out talking weather,
then shift to things of life,
how to find true happiness
in a world of strife.
Drawing no conclusions,
this old dog and pup,
sit pondering in the silence
over one more cup.
