Vote Blue, or it may be Nuke you!
It's time to decide. What side of history will you be choosing to be a part of?
Many in America are still of the mindset that the worst they've been hearing can not happen here. Well, if that's how you are thinking, then you're already late to the party. The worst has been, is, and will continue to be happening, whether or not, you elect to keep your head buried in the sands of denial, disbelief, and disillusionment.
In 2024, America did not elect a president, as many thought was the routine state of affairs. On the contrary, America had been taken over by a well organized, and long planned out, far-right Republican coup d'etat! Donald Trump came into office with the destruction of democracy, America's institutions, abolishment of the Constitution and Rule of Law, in the forefront of his mind. He seized the reins of command with his sights clearly set on the establishment of an oligarchical autocracy with himself as its supreme leader.
Together with the technical assistsance of Elon Musk under the ruse of DOGE, he waged a blitzkreig assault on government institutions. Trump straightway fired top-level administrators, laid off tens of thousands of federal workers, abolished all oversight "watchdog" agencies. With the aid of Pete Hegseth, he fired top level military leaders across all branches of the military. His goal was to immediatgely rid himself of any and all obstacles potentially standing in the way of the master plan he was about to unleash. Anyone thought not to be one hundred percent loyal to he and the MAGA movement were removed, and will continue to be removed.
At light speed, he launched the creation of a private army under the banner of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), overnight hiring anyone willing to serve his will, heavily armed, and policing with impunity. He and Stephen Miller set out to establish concentration camps across the entire nation, each facility designed to hold ten thousand prisoners, all under the ruse of immigration enforcement. In reality, the scope of the plan far exceeded projected numbers of immigrants. It imitated the plan of Hitler and the Nazis upon their taking control over the German government. They raced to build the "detainment" camp at Dachau for the express purpose of locking up all persons deemed potentially disloyal to Hitler, the Third Reich, and its road forward.
Trump has made clear from the start that he considers democrats to be enemies of the state. Since 2016, he has continued to drive a wedge deep through the middle of our country, creating an "us" and "them" -- "us" being MAGA, and "them" being the host of others. He sent his army first and foremost into blue states taunting confrontation. He has been withholding federal funds from blue states. He and his sychophants have been pushing hard to restrict voting rights, threatening to post armed forces at polling stations during the upcoming midterm elections. His Homeland Security Secretary just announced that state election officials who do not bow to Trump's demands will be jailed.
If you haven't fully awakened before now, the time is now at hand. It's time to decide on which side of American history going forward you will be a part of: Woke, or MAGA. The following is intended to provide a simplfied definition for the two opposing armies now forming for the battle ahead. If the MAGA insurgency cannot be defeated in the upcoming midterm election, then, there will be a battle -- a physical battle. If we democratic patriots vote, and vote in great numbers, and win decisively, but then have Trump and his goons intervene and say otherwise, we will have no choice but to take to the streets and employ whatever means necessary to keep our democratic republic free from the grip of a fascist regime. The way I see it, there are clearly only two sides: good versus evil, democray versus fascism, Woke versus MAGA.
In short, the Woke feel a responsibility for the preservation of the planet. They are hungry for education to add to the body of scientific knowledge to help protect the global environment, to ensure clean air and water and to help maintain a stable, balanced climate. They believe in the tenets of a democratic government of, for, and by the people, majority rule, upholding the Constitution and Rule of Law. They believe that peace through diplomacy is in the best interest of the planet and all life upon it. They believe in a free enterprize system that does not jeapardize the purirty of the planet and quality of life. Earth is their home, now and forever, and will always remain their number one priority in all decisions made withing the realms of business and government. All life is sacred.
On the contrary, the Joke faction in America place their god and religious dogma above everything. The Joke could give a rat’s ass less for the planet, clean air and water, a stable climate, peace through diplomacy. They claim to be on the Earth, but not of the Earth, that they are simply pilgrims passing through. They believe their home is with their god in heaven, and that that glorious day will come once their god’s son, Jesus, triumphantly returns to Earth. The Joke desire to “help” their god by hastening that day by promoting a volatile political climate at every opportunity, one that they lust to see culminate in the complete nuclear annihilation of this planet and all life upon it.
So, therein lies the crux of the matter. The wacked out white, fundamental Christian nationalists in America have seized control over the U.S. government. They see Donald Trump as having been sent by their god, as his tool. His ignorance and narcissistic nature, make Trump an easy mark. Their god, along with their more than willing coaxing, can easily get Trump to “push the button.”
The immediate future of America and the entire world now hang in the balance -- tipped at any moment by an angry, ignorant, self-aggrandizing old man with a trigger-happy finger, being manipulated and egged on by a small band of Far-Right Republican, religious fanatics. May every god in the universe help us!
Connect the dots. Wake up and smell the coffee. Pick a metaphor you like best, but wake the hell up! I sincerely believe that Trump and his regime have no intention of giving up power, and will not let an election stand in their way. In the military, we are taught to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
It's time to choose. I hope we end up on the same side, and that that is for democracy.
Addendum: Why Woke and Joke?
Woke is self-explanatory. Joke, one, because it rhymes with Woke, and two, if they get their way and the world is incinerated by a global nuclear war, then, it’s all over. The earth is critically crippled. Man will have been exterminated. And, SURPRISE! No second coming. No Christ. No heaven. The Joke will have been on THEM!
