I’ve been told I look
more handsome,
quite distinguished,
with short hair, and
well-groomed beard.
I prefer a new look,
more Bohemian,
quite artsy-fartsy,
with long hair, so
who cares it’s weird.
I’ve earned the right.
Been there, done that;
and survived
the cold war,
a few not so sures
that got real hot.
I dress-right-dressed,
covered down
for DOD and
corporate clowns;
but for now I’ll not.
