I wasn’t me any longer.
Truth is, I’d never been.
There was no way,
that I could stay,
much to my chagrin.
No one truly knew me.
I hadn’t known myself.
I had to go,
learn how to grow,
from new clay into delph.
All that I know for sure,
being honest to the bone,
I’m just a guy,
known to cry,
over fear of the unknown.
I’ve been such an imposter.
Life’s been a huge charade.
No more of the facades,
fake promenades, or
personas, I’ve portrayed.
