Everything in the universe is in a perpetual state of decay.
It takes time and effort to slow the rate of decay.
This time and effort are otherwise known as maintenance.
Humans spend much time and energy on maintenance.
Mainly maintenance on homes, yards, cars, and oneself.
Neglecting maintenance hastens the rate of decay.
All of maintenance stems purely from man’s vanity,
man’s innate desire to keep things “nice,” to avoid his
fate - that, in time, decay will win over maintenance,
and man, himself, must surrender to entropy, and rot.
