So, you built a career
and portfolio
to establish credential.
Stayed one up on peers,
what’s trending
what’s quintessential,
To be named a success,
an achiever,
in the eyes of the nation.
Slough off any personal
regrets and
just bring home the bacon.
No time for the esoteric,
touchy feely,
meeting the bottom line.
Hang tough, remain stoic,
trust the man
your heirs will be fine.
