I stare expressionlessly,
slender frame poised,
draped in fine fashion,
lending form to fabric,
breathing life into style.
I exchange my beauty
and youth for dollars,
but few people know;
more than commodity,
I’m a person who’s real.
More than a body, I’ve
a mind, heart, and soul:
a mind not to confuse,
a heart not to break,
a soul seeking peace.
